With winter in full swing and even though there are COVID-19 restrictions, it does not mean all your vacation plans should come to a halt! Melbourne may be in intermittent lockdowns, but when restrictions are lifted, here are several destinations you can venture off to for your weekends.

If you are in need for a little adventure, head over to Wilson’s Prom. A three-hour drive should not stop you from visiting this absolutely beautiful site. No wonder it has been granted national park status! Wilson’s Prom prides itself as being the southernmost tip of mainland Australia. It has everything from beaches and rivers to family-friendly nature walks and challenging hiking trails. During your walks, do not be surprised if you come across Australian wildlife, such as wallabies and wombats.

Our suggestions would be Hanging Rock Winery and Cloud 9 Farm. Here in Macedon Ranges, panoramic views are complimentary. For dinner, grab a pizza at Olive Jones or Source Dining. If you prefer pasta, Colenso in Kyneton or Mount Towrong Vineyard will suit your tastes.
